Take 2x as much as you think you will need, keep a binder with a summary of your childs history, medications, physcians, last hospitalization notes/ dr notes etc. Carry it with you. If traveling by air arrive at airport 2-3 hours before flight to allow time to go through security, have a letter describing need to "carry on" supplies, ship formula or arrange to pick up when you get to destination. DO NOT check formula---temperture in cargo can ruin formula to being unuseable. We have 1 suitcase that we pack her formula into and all her supplies, that fits under the seat, extra is either shipped to family/friends or hotel, waiting for us when we arrive.
